Vignette® Modern Roman Shades are known for their distinctive appearance and practicality. With the addition of the Top-Down/Bottom-Up design option, Vignette Modern Roman Shades
offer variable privacy and light control plus a view
to the outside at the same time. This is an ideal option for customers
who want the look of a custom drapery with the convenience of a shade.
A single EasyRise™ cord loop control operates the shade
top-down or bottom-up in one simple operation.
Note that only one function is used at a time,
that is the shade is operated either from the
top down or from the bottom up, but not both
functions at the same time. The
top-down/bottom-up option is not available
with the UltraGlide™ lifting system or with
any motorized application.
Soft fabric folds stack neatly at the bottom when lowered top-down, maintaining the contoured fold shape and distinctly elegant styling. Lift cords are concealed between the front and rear fabrics for a clean exterior appearance. As with all Vignette Shades, no rings, grommets or exposed cords detract from the outside appearance of the home. The fabric-covered headrail conceals the fabric stack when the shade is fully raised. No other Roman shade on the market today rolls completely into the headrail without any stack.

When
viewed from the outside, the stack to
the bottom stays neat and there are no
exposed, rings, grommets or cords |
|
The
top rail, middle rail and bottom rail are
each fabric covered. When operated
from the bottom up the shade virtually
disappears into the headrail when
fully raised — like all Vignette shades. |

All
Standard Fabrics in Traditional Folds
The top-down/bottom-up design option is available in all standard fabrics and colors in the Traditional
thre-inch and four-inch contoured fold sizes on single panel shades,
up to 72" in width and up to 102" in height.
EveScape™ room darkening fabrics are not
available with top-down/bottom-up operation. For added versatility,
top-down/bottom-up shades may be combined with standard Vignette Modern Roman Shades in the same
room. The difference is in the way they operate,
not in the way they look. Vignette shades
with the top-down/bottom-up design option are
installed with the same recently
improved mounting brackets and techniques
that are recommended for standard Vignette
shades.
