The
installation bracket for Vignette® Modern
Roman Shades has been redesigned. The new
design will make it easier to install Vignette
shades.
The most visible difference is the spacing tab
on the back of the bracket. This provides the
spacing needed to install Vignette with
PowerRise® shades on an inside
mount when the battery wand is used. The tab
can be removed for standard shades or to be
used as a shim to adjust bracket height or
depth on uneven surfaces.
You
will also notice that the front lip of the
bracket has been reduced in width. This makes
it easier to install the headrail. On the
previous bracket, the lip extended across the
entire face of the bracket. If one or more of
the brackets were installed with even a slight
twist or if the front of the bracket was not
perfectly level and parallel with the window
opening, the wider lip could make it difficult
to push the headrail back far enough to engage
the locking mechanism. You will find it much
easier to engage the new bracket, As before,
as the headrail locks into place, listen for
the click that tells you the shade is
installed securely. |
When
the battery wand is used for Vignette with PowerRise,
additional depth is required. The tab on
the new bracket will ensure you have the
required space.
