What's This?

At The The
Touch Of A
Button...

Now available with Silhouette® Quartette™, PowerRise will give the maximum view-through from anywhere in the room —at the touch of a button!

Now the ease and convenience of PowerRise is available for all vane sizes in Silhouette® window shadings. This now includes the bold look of Silhouette Quartette™ shadings with the 4-inch vane. PowerRise is available for Quartette in either the Origanale™ collection or in the light dimming Bob Soir™ fabrics.

As with other PowerRise systems, the PowerRise hand-held remote control transmits an infrared signal to raise, lower or adjust vanes from a distance of up to thirty feet away. The signal is received by an internal infrared eye on either side of the shade. Alternatively a Satellite Eye can be used if the internal eye is blocked by a cornice, top treatment or anything else.

There Are Three Ways To Get Power To The Shading

First, a built-in Battery Wand, which is standard with inside mounts. Battery wands are not available with outside mount applications due to the depth of the holding clips on the back of the shading.

Then, the Satellite Battery Pack is standard with outside mount installations. It is available as an option for inside and end mounts, too.

Finally, the optional AC Transformer, which eliminates the need for batteries by plugging into a standard outlet. This can used for any mounting style.

Because it eliminates the need for batteries, which can wear inconsistently, when the AC transformer is used shadings will run at a more consistent speed.

Newly available for Silhouette shadings is a new daisy-chain option when using the AC Transformer that allows three shadings to be powered by one AC Transformer. This new option is available in ALL vane sizes of Silhouette with PowerRise, but uses different daisy-chain wires specific to the shadings’ voltage. This Daisy-Chain option connection wires are available in in 3 lengths, fifteen-inch, five feet & eight feet.

The power requirements are a little different for Silhouette Quartette with PowerRise than for the other vane sizes. Two- and three-inch PowerRise shadings operate on a 12-volt system and utilize only 8 batteries.

Quartette PowerRise is an 18-volt system powered by 12 AA Alkaline batteries. The higher volt system allows wider and longer shades to operate at a comparable speed. The new connectors, as seen here, are used with Quartette shadings
