Truly Innovative! Experience the ease of  TruRise™, the latest  innovative lifting system  from Hunter Douglas.

TruRise® is a new state-of-the-art lifting system by Hunter Douglas that allows you to effortlessly raise a shade. It is now available exclusively for all Duette 1¼" pleat fabrics. 

This counter-balanced system easy to understand and use. Just pull the tassel down to raise the shade with a reduced lift ratio that makes it feel light. To lower the shade, simply lift the tassel. As it rises effortlessly, the shade lowers to the desired level.  TruRise provides smooth, quiet and simple operation every time.

There is no locking motion needed with Duette® with TruRise™ so there is no pulling to stop the shade and no friction or wear from the use of cord locks. The special Kevlar® lift cord has extremely high strength and durability. It is available only in a natural neutral color. The tassel, headrail and bottom rail, however, are coordinated to fabric.

The single cord operation eliminates the need for a cord stop, so Duette with TruRise enhances safety and offers improved aesthetics at the window. 

The height of the tassel is adjustable.  The cord never travels more than half the height of the blind.  Even on the longest shades of 84", the cord will only move 42" to entirely lift the shade, so it should never pool on the floor like shades with ordinary cordlock systems. The TruRise tassel should be adjusted so that it does not rest on a sill or any other obstruction before the shade is fully raised. The easy adjustment is detailed in the TruRise Installation & Care Guide. Be sure to have the shade in the fully lowered position before adjusting the height of the tassel.

Duette with TruRise provides a new lower entry level lifting system for 1¼” fabrics, including the Whisper Sheer, Batiste Textured semi-opaque, Majestic semi-opaque and Majestic Eclipse. The former entry level system for 1¼" fabrics, UltraGlide™, is now a width based surcharge based off of the TruRise price grid. 

The maximum width for all fabrics is 120” and the maximum height for all fabrics is 84”. Square foot restrictions changes by fabric as follows:

• D40 Whisper™ Sheer 70 sq. ft.

• D36 Batiste Textured™ semi-opaque 37 sq. ft.

• D10 Majestic™ semi-opaque 53 sq. ft.

• D12 Majestic Eclipse™ opaque 50 sq. ft.
