What's This?

Your Place
In The Sun...
Design with Light” is the theme of the new sample book for Silhouette® window shadings and it’s exactly what Silhouette shadings allow you to do…design with light with new options, fabrics and colors.

The Matisse™ Collection features rich colors, a colored sheer face and fabric covered headrails.

Lumiere™ is softly texture and provides a soft view to the outside even when the vanes are closed

New Fabrics
A unique fabric collection known as The Matisse Collection of colored
sheers marks a significant change in the look of Silhouette.

With other selections the color in Silhouette shadings comes exclusively from the vane. Both the front and back sheers are white. Now, The Matisse Collection offers the ability to have more color in the window with Silhouette. The collection features bold, richly colored vanes which are further enhanced by the addition of the same color in the front sheer. This much color can now dramatically augment the color scheme of any room!  The Matisse Collection is available in 6 bold colors, and in both the 2" and 3" vane size. The Matisse Collection also features a fabric covered headrail on every sheer for no additional charge (For other fabric collections, a fabric-covered headrail is being introduced for a modest surcharge. Details are below). This collection is only available on the oversized headrail.

Another addition to the Silhouette fabric line is the Lumiere™ fabric, a semi-sheer selection that is unlike anything previously offered. Lumiere is a light fabric with a soft, chiffon texture. Its unique weave allows you to have a soft, diffused view to the outside —even when the vanes are closed! And when light comes through, Lumiere provides a luminescent glow. This fabric is available in 9 designer colors in both the 2" and 3" vane size.

The third new fabric is known as Bon Jour™. With the growing popularity of the more prominent linen pattern available in Toujours™, Bon Jour provides a more subtle, horizontal linen pattern. If you take a close look at the fabric vane, it looks almost like spun silk. It can add a subtle elegance to any room, or look like a more casual fabric. It’s available in 9 soft colors in both the 2” and 3” vane size.

Palette Fabric-Covered Headrail Collection…
One of the most requested improvements for Silhouette, a softer look for the headrail, is now available for most Silhouette applications.  With this option, the headrail is covered in the same color and fabric vane as the shading to give the shading a soft, integrated and custom look. This option is available for a modest surcharge per shading. The fabric-covered headrail is available for shadings made with either the standard or the oversized headrails.  It can be used with all fabrics except Tres Vue and all applications except for the Top-Down/Bottom-Up with TiltAnywhere™.  It is included for no additional surcharge in the new Matisse Collection.

There have been slight modifications to the Silhouette headrail to allow the fabric cover, so it is available for new shadings only.

For most fabric selections, to clean the fabric-covered headrail involves simply lightly dusting or vacuum using low suction vacuum or attachment.
For deeper cleaning, hand wash using a sponge or delicate cloth and mild soap solution.

Do not hand wash The Matisse Collection™ fabric-covered headrail – stick to light regular dusting with a clean, dry cloth

Do not steam or ultrasonically clean any headrail fabric

Improved Arch/Angle
A vastly improved new attachment method for Silhouette arches and angles is now available. This new method significantly reduces the installation time compared with the previous attachment method. The new components allow arched or angled shadings to be removed easily from the window. The shadings are also easier to adjust in the window side-to-side and top-to-bottom.

Additional benefits of the new hardware is that for both arches and angles, the hardware is low-profile and virtually invisible, as there is no longer a need for the white trim to attach the shading.

Arch and angle applications are always stationary shadings held permanently in an open position.
