Add On Motorization Whenever There is A...
Remote Possibility!

Here's a closer look at the new motorization options for Remembrance™ Window Shades, including the new Designer Screen Collection.

NOW AVAILABLE FOR PROVENANCE™ WOVEN WOOD SHADES!

If you've worked with our other motorized systems, like Duette Motorized EasyRise® or Motorized Silhouette®,   you won't have too much difficulty getting to know Motorized Window Shades, but there are some differences, too.

Radio Signal (RF) Instead of Infrared (IR)

Unlike our other motor systems, which use Infrared signals, the new system used with Remembrance Shades uses a Radio Frequency to transmit the signal to the shade.  The most noticeable thing about transmitting via radio signal is that you won't have to point a remote control device directly at a shade.  In fact, you don't even have to be in the same room. Radio signals for this system will transmit for 65 feet, even through walls.

Smooth Quiet Operation
The smooth and quiet operation of Motorized Window Shades enables large or out-of-reach shades to be controlled with the touch of a button.  It's a great solution for any of your customers and will even improve the life of any of your customers who are affected by disabilities.

You'll be glad to know you don't have to construct a radio tower in the back yard to run the shades, in fact, the controls are very easy.

Unlimited Remote Options

There are two types of remote controls.  At left is the One Channel Remote which will operate an unlimited number of shades within a 65 foot radius simultaneously.

At right is the Five Channel Remote Control. It, too, will operate an unlimited number of shades simultaneously within a 65 foot radius, but the shades can be separated and grouped into five separate channels.

WIRELESS Wall Switches!

Like the remote controls, there are two types of wall switches available, one channel or five channel.  They are used just like the remote controls and can be used in conjunction with them or on their own. Note that these switches do not need to be connected to the shade by a wire.  Instead, they transmit the RF signal to the shades much like the remote control system does.  Since they are installed into the wall, they are less portable than the remote controls, but you'll always know where they are.

Just In Time!

A wireless timer control is also available to raise and lower shades automatically. With daily settings, channel settings and a vacation mode.

Plug n' Play

The standard wall plug option.  Available in 3', 6' or 12' lengths with a plug on the end

So What Does Need To Be Wired?

Only the shade itself needs to be wired.  This is another place that's quite different from our other motorized systems.  This system runs in a 110 volt household current.  Our other systems are low-voltage.  It may be ordered with a plug on the end of a lead wire that simply plugs into a standard wall outlet.  Alternatively, it may be direct wired. For Motorized Window Shades, all direct wiring must conform to NEC (National Electrical Code) and local codes and a qualified electrician is required. The motors can be wired in parallel. A means of disconnecting the power at each motor independently should be provided. Power only needs to be supplied to the motor. The receiver is completely enclosed inside the motor tube.

Direct

The direct wire option comes with a 6' lead wire.  It is recommended that each shade have a means of disconnecting on its own.
