Each of the lift systems
available for new Alouette Light Louvers will work in standard,
easily accessible windows. So for many windows it is simply
a matter of preference. But for many situations, the
window's location, size and other considerations can narrow your
customers’ choices. It's best in these casees to let the
window decide which is best. Since all of the systems are
priced the same, choose the one that best meets the needs of your
customer for each particular window. Here are some of the
factors that will help you decide.

BTS (Bar-Tab
System)
The louvers are
tilted using a tilt bar, similar to a shutter. The
louvers are raised and lowered using a lift tab. The
BTS is a unique look in the window. The cordless
design is ideal for homes with children and pets.
Excellent for doors to avoid swinging cords and tassels.
Maximum size: 72" x 72".

BCS (Bar-Cord
System)
Like the BTS system,
louvers are tilted using a tilt bar but they are raised
and lowered using a lift cord. The tilt bar retains a
shutter look, while the lift cord allows easier access
than the lift tab for high or hard-to-reach windows.
Louvers will stack into a smaller space than on the BTS
system. The tilt and lift controls may be on the
same side or on opposite sides. Maximum size: 84" x
72".

CCS (Cord-Cord
System)
The louvers are
tilted using a tilt shuttle and raised using a lift
cord. The cords can be any length, so this system
is perfect for high windows — as well as for
center windows with no mounting surface for a tilt bar
pivot bracket. Louvers will stack into a smaller space
than on the BTS system. The tilt and lift controls must be
placed on opposite sides. Maximum size: 84" x
120".
