Handcrafted Polysatin Shutters 
Exclusive to Summerwind Shutters, Polysatin is a colorfast vinyl compound with UV stabilizers. It is fire retardant and self extinguishing. Polyresin 3 makes Summerwind shutters resist dents and scratches. They will not warp, crack, chip or peel and they never need to be painted. This compound makes Summerwind Shutters easy to clean with just soap and water.

Locking Tilt Bar connector
Featured on traditional shutters, the patented connector allows louvers to be opened/closed, and locked in unison. There are no unsightly gears or staples.

Factory Installed Color Matching Two-part Hinge 
Even the hinges are special on Summerwind shutters.  They are color matched and won't discolor over time.  They also allow quick and easy removal and replacement of panels for cleaning and access to the window

Four frame styles
Frame styles to suit any application, inside or outside mount.  Frames are assembled with mitred corners and strengthened by internally concealed corner keys for additional strength.  In windows that require unframed panels, there are a variety of additional installation options.
