The popularly priced collection has recently been expanded to fit
the needs of your customers. Chalet Woods have the
best features and the most popular options for wood blinds.
They are made with the HeadMaster™ low profile headrail. A
cord-tilt is standard, but wand-tilt is also available as an
option. The may be ordered as traditional routed blinds or
with the de-Light™ feature that eliminates rout holes.
Blinds made with traditional rout holes may be ordered with
standard ladders or with optional decorative tapes, which have
also been expanded. But the best feature of all is that
Chalet Woods are fabricated by Designer Blinds and carry Hunter
Douglas name along with the Lifetime Limited Warranty that goes
with it. To make Chalet Woods easy to show, slat
samples are available on an inexpensive and easy to use sample
deck that includes a sample of the valance and all of the
decorative tapes.
New
Colors
The color selection of Chalet Woods has nearly
doubled with the addition of nine colors that are
completely new to the line. Stain colors are
becoming more fashionable in today’s home fashions. A bleached, a whitewash and seven new additional
stains have been added to the line in new colors that can be found in residential furnishings.
All of the previously existing Chalet Woods slat colors will remain in the line.
New
Tapes
The Chalet Woods line has also picked up six new decorative tape colors. Four of these new tape colors
are carried over from the Hunter Douglas Country Woods® Collection. In addition, there is a new soft green,
and a new soft blue, colors that are prevalent now in furniture upholstery.
All of the previously existing Chalet Woods tape
colors will remain in the line.
Improved
Valance System
The Chalet Woods valance has been upgraded, too. First, the valance height
has increase from 2˝" to 3". The taller valance provides a more upscale appearance. The overall valance design will be
unchanged, just proportioned to become 1/2" taller.
Hidden
Mounting Brackets
The new hidden mounting bracket feature has been introduced to
Chalet Woods. The Hidden Mounting Clip for valances mounts on a groove on the back of the valance. Installers and consumers will appreciate the ease of installation and the clean look.
The corner clip has also been changed and is
easy to use.
