What's So Revolutionary About Country Woods Exposé Blinds?

Exposé blinds are made with 2-5/8" beveled slats —like the slats used for Country Woods Reflections™.  But, unlike the typical three-step finishing process used for most wood blinds, the Exposé slats employ a five to eight step finishing process. The extra steps enhance the appearance of Exposé by adding texture and depth for a finish of exceptional beauty.

This level of detail is seen throughout the Country Woods Exposé product line. Valance designs feature unique sculpted and carved looks. In the Castaway Collection, there's even a leather-wrapped valance!

Wood tassels are shaped and finished to complement specific Exposé styles, and the tapes and trims have been specially designed, as well.

The Refined Collection:

The two styles in the Refined Collection have a sophisticated essence. One style, available in four colors, features deep fine furniture finishes, tone-on-tone stains that radiate in the light, a striking sculpted valance and bead-shaped tassels. The other style, offered in two colors, has a hand-rubbed glaze finish over authentically aged wood with distressed characteristics. The matching contoured valance and cone shaped tassels complete this style's look.

Included in the Refined Collection are optional lustrous trim weaves — created exclusively for Hunter Douglas.  Blinds from the Refined Collection may also be made with any existing decorative tape offered in the Country Woods® Collection.

The Castaway Collection

The Castaway Collection offers an exotic look in two styles - one reminiscent of bamboo, the other of leather. In the first, the ambience of  island life is captured in two rich stains with matte finishes, topped by a beautiful carved bamboo design valance with deep accented grooves. Matching tassels complete the look. In the second style, also offered in two colors, the slats are printed with a leather pattern to match the grain of the leather-wrapped valance. These blinds are the perfect accent to leather furniture.

The Castaway Collection also includes its own optional natural fiber trims and animal print tape. Blinds from the Refined Collection may also be made with any existing decorative tape offered in the Country Woods® Collection.

Two Sample Books
The Exposé collections have individual sample books. Lightweight and compact, the books feature beautiful room setting photography and removable slat and valance samples. Tape and trim swatches are on "fingers" so that wood slat samples can be placed underneath to visualize color coordination. The books come with an attractive tote bag for easy carrying.  Included with the Exposé sampling are brochures for each of the collections and an ad slick that features both collections.

Selling Exposé Blinds
The wood blind market is extremely price competitive; but the launch of Country Woods Exposé is NOT PART OF any price war competition. Hunter Douglas instead is "raising the bar" with these new designs, giving you a unique product to offer clients who like to stay trendy with home furnishings and designers who are looking for something different.  As with any new product, remember to get out there with Exposé early and feature it prominently.  It will seem as if you have something your competitors are missing.
