Find Out Why So Many Dealers are Returning To
The Fold!

You might be surprised to find that the collection of Vignette Window Shadings has been one of the strongest performers in the array of products from Hunter Douglas and Designer Blinds.  But some dealers aren't surprised.  They've discovered the special qualities of Vignette that make it so appealing to their clients that it is almost irresistible.  Here's why they keep coming back to Vignette.

Product Summary
Vignette combines the look of a fine drapery with the function of a shade.  The fabric folds retain their shape and fullness completely.  These folds are what give Vignette its unique and alluring appearance that softens and diffuses outside light while providing complete privacy.  Vignette is available in either three-inch or four-inch fold sizes.  The neutral knit fabric backing on all shadings provides a uniform look to the outside of a house.  It is available with either the standard color coordinated headrail or a fabric covered headrail option that makes it hard to tell where the shading ends and the headrail begins.

So that's the product in a nutshell, but what really makes it special? It is undoubtedly the selection of fabrics.  Casual, formal, textured, soft colors, neutrals or deep jewel tones —whatever your preferences are, Vignette is a bit of a chameleon in that it blends perfectly with the room that surrounds it.

Headrail Magic
While the headrail often appears to be quite large, only 7/8" is required to install Vignette as a projected inside mount.  You'll find that once installed, the headrail has a consistent look with the rest of the shading —especially if you take advantage of the optional Fabric-Covered Headrail as shown here.  The headrail also completely conceals the shading when lifted, providing far more open view than hobbled roman shades which may take a considerable portion of the window for stacking space.  The headrail also as a built-in device that "fluffs" the fabric folds as the shading is lowered.  This helps the fabrics retain that special fullness to the fold.

Split Personality

In a single panel. Vignette shadings are available up to 72" wide (70" for Jacquard).  But they can still provide personality to wider windows by using split panels. Vignette shadings over 72" wide (up to 96") must have at least one split, but will still function as a single shading.  The split is approximately 1/8" and can be lined up precisely with mullions, gridwork or other divisions in the window.  When a split panel shading is ordered with a fabric covered headrail, the split in the fabrics covering the headrail will be very close in alignment to the split between panels, but may appear to be somewhat out of line due to the depth of the shading as opposed to the headrail.

All Vignette Fabrics
Available in Cut Yardage!
Vignette is a great selection of shadings, but it is also a great selection of fabrics that can be used with or without Vignette shadings— for draperies, side panels pillows or other accessories.  With Vignette, these fabrics are a natural because the coordinate perfectly.  As an added bonus, the cut yardage fabric is available in widths of 72" (70" for Jacquard). That's about 25% more than the typical fabric width of 58".  The fabrics are available in one yard minimums and can be ordered in half-yard increments thereafter.

So make sure you're showing this increasingly popular product.  If you return to the fold, your customers are likely to flock to Vignette!
