The Look Of Wood Shutters At A Fraction Of The Price!

A Closer Look at REFLECTIONS

2-5/8" BEVELED SLATS PRODUCE A GREAT LOOK

Now, in addition to the 1" and 2" slat sizes, Hunter Douglas Country Woods® has introduced the new 2-5/8" Reflections™ slat that combines a look similar to real wood shutters with the added functionality of a blind.

NEW! Spacer blocks that attach to brackets for easy installation (see Installer's Note below).

Open Up The View

The 2-5/8" slat size provides a great effect when closed and a more pleasing, unobstructed view when opened.  In this picture from the Country Woods sample book, you can see how much more open view to the outside Reflections gives compared to the other Country Wood slat sizes:

Here you can see how Reflections gives you more view and light than traditional wood blinds. The ladder spacing on Reflections is 35% greater than the ladder spacing for 2" blinds.

Thicker Beveled Slats
To reduce the likelihood for slats to bow or warp in this wider profile, the Reflections slats are fully
48% thicker
than traditional wood blind slats.
This increased thickness, along with the subtle beveled edge, help portray a look of wood shutters. This higher-end shutter look comes with the cost and convenience of a wood blind.

Note how the slat is beveled on both the leading and trailing edge.  This additional shaping adds to the appeal of Reflections.

HeadMaster™ Hardware System

Country Woods Reflections utilizes the same HeadMaster™ hardware system as 2" slat blinds. This headrail is by far the most durable and best performing headrail on the market.

INSTALLER'S NOTE:
To be sure there is enough clearance for operation between the Reflections slats and the glass or mounting surface behind the blind, The wider 2-5/8" slats are opened, a spacer is required behind the mounting brackets. The spacer block is provided by Designer Blinds with every order of Reflections blinds.  For ease of use, the spacer block attaches to the installation brackets.  Be sure to ALWAYS attach the spacer blocks with to the brackets before installing the Reflections blinds.  Use the spacer blocks whether mounting the blind inside or outside the opening.  The spacer block as described below will ensure that you always have enough clearance to operate the wider slats.

Attach End Brackets To Spacer Block

Designer Blinds includes a spacer block for each end bracket in every order of Refelections™ wood blinds.

Use the spacer for inside and outside mount applications.

Attach the spacer block by sliding it onto the back side of the end mount bracket.  The spacer block stays attached to the bracket for easy installation and ensures there will be enough room to operate the deeper slat.

Attach Center Brackets To Spacer Block
The spacer block for center support brackets is slightly different.  Designer Blinds includes a spacer block for each center bracket in every order of Refelections™ wood blinds.

Use the spacer for inside and outside mount applications.

Attach the spacer block by snapping it onto the back side of the center support bracket.  The spacer block stays attached to the bracket for easy installation and ensures there will be enough room to operate the deeper slat.
