Special Measuring Considerations

The Summerwind ClearLight™ option has become a favorite for many dealers.  With this very simple concept shutters take on a more contemporary appeal and open up the view. The ClearLight™ option also provides tighter closure to the vanes on shutter panels for the best light blocking capabilities.  

The Vanes are opened by simply moving one slat to the open position and the rest move with it.  As with all Summerwind Shutters by Designer Blinds, the vanes rotate a full 180º for full light control and privacy.

Here's How ClearLight™ Shutters Work:

Instead of using the traditional tilt bar on the front of the shutter, panels made with ClearLight™ use a special connector that links all of the slats together on the back side.  The connectors are placed on the side to which the panel is hinged.  The connectors are well-protected behind the shutter, making ClearLight™ a great choice for restaurants, medical offices or any other place with public access. 

The connectors simply snap together and into each vane.  In the unlikely event that a connector would need replacing, it is easily accomplished in seconds.
